JuggleLess ("we," "our," or "us") is operated by Juggleless LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company. We are committed to protecting the privacy of families who use our service. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our family activity coordination application.

By using JuggleLess, you consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with these practices, please do not use our service.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide

When you create a JuggleLess account and use our service, you provide us with:

Account Information: Email address, name, and optional phone number for login and notifications
Family Member Information: Names and age ranges of family members (we collect only first names for children)
Activity Information: Sports teams, schools, clubs, and other activities your family participates in
Financial Information: Activity-related expenses for tracking and tax reporting purposes (we do not store payment card numbers)
Waitlist Information: If you join our waitlist before creating an account, we collect your email address, first name, and optionally the number of children in your family, your city, and a referral code. We also record your IP address for spam prevention.

2.2 Information from Forwarded Emails

When you forward activity-related emails to JuggleLess, we temporarily process:

Email content to extract event details, tasks, pickup information, and expenses
Sender information to associate emails with your family account
PDF attachments for schedules, waivers, and receipts

Important: We do not store the full text of forwarded emails permanently. We extract structured data (events, tasks, expenses) and delete the original email content within 90 days.

2.3 Automatically Collected Information

Device information (browser type, operating system)
IP address (anonymized for analytics)
Usage data (features used, pages visited)
Timestamps of account activity

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

Provide Our Service: Display schedules, send reminders, track expenses, and coordinate activities
Parse Emails: Use AI technology to extract structured information from activity emails
Generate Reports: Help identify potentially FSA/HSA eligible expenses
Send Communications: Transactional emails about your account, events, and important updates
Improve Our Service: Analyze anonymized usage patterns to enhance features
Ensure Security: Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access

4. What We Do NOT Do

We are committed to protecting your family's privacy. We do NOT:

Sell your personal information to third parties
Share your data with advertisers or data brokers
Profile children for commercial purposes
Display targeted advertising
Store photographs or images of children (see Section 8)
Track users across other websites or apps

5. Third-Party Services

We work with carefully selected third-party services to operate JuggleLess:

Supabase: Database hosting (all user data is encrypted at rest and in transit)
Anthropic (Claude AI): Email parsing to extract event details (email content is processed temporarily and not retained by Anthropic for training)
Postmark: Email receiving for forwarded activity emails
Vercel: Application hosting
PostHog: Analytics (with anonymized IP addresses; you can opt out)

All third-party vendors are contractually bound to protect your data and use it only for service provision.

6. Data Security

We implement security measures to protect your information:

Encryption: All data is encrypted at rest and in transit
Access Controls: Row-level security policies ensure users can only access their own family's data
HTTPS Only: All connections use secure HTTPS encryption
Secure Authentication: Magic link authentication with no stored passwords

7. Your Privacy Rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal information:

Right to Access

You can view all data we have about you and your family through your account dashboard.

Right to Delete

You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time through Settings → Account → Delete Account. We will complete deletion within 30 days.

Right to Export

You can export your data at any time. We strongly recommend exporting your expense data regularly if you plan to use it for tax purposes. JuggleLess is a coordination tool, not a long-term archive—please keep your own records.

Right to Correct

You can update or correct your information at any time through your account settings.

Right to Opt Out

You can opt out of analytics tracking through Settings → Privacy.

8. Protecting Children's Information

JuggleLess is designed for parents to coordinate their children's activities. Only adults (18+) may create accounts. Children do not use JuggleLess directly—parents input and manage all information.

8.1 What We Collect About Children

We minimize the information collected about children:

First names only (not full names)
Age ranges (not birthdates)
Activity associations (which sports, teams, or clubs they participate in)

8.2 No Photos of Children

JuggleLess does not store photographs or images of children. When processing email attachments, we save documents like schedules and receipts, but we do NOT save general photos, team photos, or images of children. This is an intentional design decision to protect children's privacy.

8.3 Parental Control

Parents have complete control over their children's information in JuggleLess. You can view, edit, or delete any information about your children at any time. Only you decide what information to add about your family.

9. Data Retention

We retain your data as follows:

Account Information: Retained until you delete your account
Forwarded Email Content: Deleted within 90 days after processing
Events, Tasks, and Expenses: Retained until you delete them or delete your account
Analytics Data: Anonymized usage data retained by our analytics provider (PostHog) per their retention policy. You can disable analytics at any time in Settings → Privacy

Important: JuggleLess is an activity coordination tool, not a permanent record-keeping system. If you need expense records for tax purposes, please export your data regularly and maintain your own records. We do not guarantee long-term data retention.

10. State Privacy Law Compliance

We respect privacy rights under state laws including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (VCDPA), and similar laws. Regardless of where you live, you have the right to access, delete, correct, and export your personal information. We do not sell personal information.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email and by posting a notice in the application. Your continued use of JuggleLess after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
